It may be quite obvious but we confirm - it’s students’ paradise. Children are definitely an exception rather than a rule but it’s possible to find young adults who just graduated from university and start their own families. Rest assured, a number of people in their early twenties is higher here than in any different neighborhood you’ve visited.

Things you’ll love 

If you’re a student or a professor, you’ll definitely love how close to your university the neighborhood is located. You can live off-campus but still don’t waste much time on commuting, which you’ll especially appreciate during exams when cramming is particularly unbearable. As a student-oriented region, there are plenty of pubs, bars, and cafes near the residential area, as well as libraries and bookstores (it’s pretty convenient when you decide to study at some point).

Be warned …

Well … you can imagine it can be loud sometimes, especially on Friday nights, but it’s a small price to pay for the convenient life you can have here. Also, you should know the area offers mostly lovely, bohemian apartments to rent rather than spacious houses, so if you’re looking for a home for sale, it may not be the best neighborhood for you.     

Transportation

Basically, everything you might need, no matter if it’s afternoon or midnight, is within walking distance from your apartment. If you enjoy long walks, you’ll reach your university in less than an hour, if not, you’ll find the bus service without any trouble (the bus leaves every ten minutes so it’s okay to take a longer nap in the morning).   

Schools 

As you already know, it’s the student-oriented area where many universities are close to the residential neighborhood. Considering high or elementary schools, commuting will be a little bit more time-consuming but not very inconvenient as you’ll get everything you need by bus. More options are to be easily found in the near proximity, so you don’t need to worry about the education of the youngest at all.
